Jerez WSBK : Tom Sykes world champion Briton Tom Sykes, won the Championship this Sunday, eni FIM World Superbike 2013, after the first race in Jerez . The driver of the ZX -10R Kawasaki Racing Team, took third place adequate position for the top and end of its fifth year in WSBK on a first world title .
Sykes is the way the first driver to win the coronation Kawasaki WSBK, with over twenty years since the title of Scott Russell in 1993.
However, the victory in the race returned to Eugene Laverty , author of a fantastic final round in which the Irish defeated Marco Melandri by outside the Italian in the final corner . Both drivers escaped early in the race and Melandri had expected the penultimate lap to go on the offensive in Turn 6 , before undergoing an attack against any beauty which confirmed the victory for Laverty and the constructors’ title for Aprilia .
Jerez WSBK : Tom Sykes world champion, Sylvain Guintoli finished fourth in isolated position without being able to disrupt Sykes while Toni Elías and Davide Giugliano ( Althea Racing Aprilia ) completed the Top 6 being less competitive in the race that they were for practice and qualifying. Also included in the Top 10 Chaz Davies , Leon Camier , Xavi Fores and Mark Aitchison . Jules Cluzel and Sylvain Barrier, who made his debut with BMW Motorrad WSBK GoldBet after winning the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup , took the eleventh and twelfth places.

Superstock 1000: victory Guarnoni
Winner home two weeks earlier at Magny-Cours , Jeremy Guarnoni won a second consecutive victory on Sunday in Jerez, during the final round of the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup. The pilot of the MRS team Kawasaki this time successful solo breakaway to win with a little more than four seconds ahead of Leandro Mercado .
Romain Lanusse , Alessandro Andreozzi and Markus Reiterberger were meanwhile fighting for the last spot on the podium, which went to the young French . Kevin Calia managed to take sixth place for the second race in the category , finishing ahead of teammate Niccolò Canepa , who has secured the title of Vice- Champion with a lead over Guarnoni issue. Tough day, for Lorenzo Savadori , 24th at the finish after falling twice at the beginning of the race.
