1290 KTM Superduke R is an amazing product because it filled more than its simple villain roadster. A power of its engine, it adds an easy and seamless chassis and comfortable even if we refer to the standards of the genre. And the addition of driver aids makes not only drivable but mostly usable by ordinary people.

The approach KTM (and other manufacturers that will soon reveal too hyper roadsters) is a flawless logic: the niche sport is on the decline and the trend is unlikely to reverse. Too radical a daily basis, rarely seen exploitable to the increase in traffic and traffic enforcement. The R Superduke1290 therefore place more livable recent alternative, while still able to go kick a time on the track. The arrival of the Austrian beast is announced concession for the second half of December and costs  15,690.

And face it, the competition is now starving with Aprilia Tuono V 4R (170 hp –  14,000) and a Ducati Streetfighter S (155 hp – € 19,400). All this will soon change with the imminent arrival of a Ducati Monster 1198 and the roadster variant of the BMW S 1000 RR 2014 on the edge.
